چکیده
The nano surface roughness of metallic materials is important in engineering and medical fields for specific applications. Magneto rheological abrasive flow finishing (MRAFF) process was performed on nickel-free austenitic stainless workpieces order to obtain at the level also forecast performance MRAFF terms responses such as (SR) material removal rate (MRR). These two are affected by factors hydraulic pressure, current electromagnet, number cycles during machining process. design experiments (DOE) used determine contributions parameters output responses. techniques grey relational analysis (GRA) principal component (PCA) were these experimental investigations discover that minimise final Ra maximise MRR. Through DOE, a minimum SR 63.24 nm maximum MRR 2.34 mg/sec obtained samples combination 30 bar 6 A current, 300 cycles.

Optimization of gas metal arcwelding parameters of SS304 austenitic steel by Taguchi –Grey relational analysis
This study investigated the optimization of three welding parameters (wire feed speed, arc voltage, and shielding gas flow rate) for SS 304H by using Taguchi based Grey relational analysis. In this research work, pure argon was used as shielding gas. Numbers of trials were performed as per L16 (4xx3) orthogonal array design and the mechanical quality such ultimate tensile strength, microhardnes...

This conference paper briefly discusses different techniques for measuring the evolution of the martensite content in cold-rolled stainless steel 301LN sheets under mechanical loading. Three methods are employed to measure the martensite content: (1) micrography, (2) bulk magnetic induction, and (3) local magnetic permeability measurements. The first two methods require the extraction of sample...
متن کاملExperimental Investigations on Stretchability of an Austentic Stainless Steel 316L
The purpose of this investigation is to examine the viability of using the sheet metal for forming applications. Forming limit diagram (FLD) composed of negative and positive minor strain with respect to major strain which occurs at directional zero strain with the critical thickness of sheet metal. The negative minor strain region of FLD is predicted by localized necking. However there is no d...

Grey relational analysis is useful for the multi-input, discrete data and uncertain experimental study. Developed in this paper is the application of the grey relational analysis for optimizing the electropolishing of 316L stainless steel with multiple performance characteristics. The processing parameters (temperature, current density, and electrolyte composition) are optimized with considerat...
